Roundcube Mail SSO Configuration

In this article, you will learn how to configure the Roundcube email client integrated in Nextcloud, specifically how to enable single sign on. This article will also go into a few features that roundcube provides.

 

How to configure SSO (Single Sign On)

Step 1:

In Nextcloud go to dashboard and click on the Roundcube app, below is the login screen. As you can see, the app is completely integrated with and you can still go to your different apps on the dashboard. Roundcube in Nextcloud asks you to log in each time you open the app, however there is a setting in nextcloud that will allow you to bypass this screen entirely.

Step 2:

Go to Settings, then in your Personal Settings, find the Roundcube Integration tab. Put in your email in the email login tab and your password in the password app. Once they're in, click on both of the arrows to confirm both of the entries. Now when we go back to the Roundcube app, you'll be automatically authenticated and you'll be sent to the main page.
